Day 1
wasnt excited over the OBS camp. in fact, i was super reluctant to go, especially when we had a great splash in wild wild wet the day before. speaking from the bottom of my heart, i miss all of u super much..it came to a moment which i asked myself, why am i doing down here? Saying hi to strangers seems harder than ever. it took me 3 days to know my watch people. nothing much on day 1. spent most of the day preparing what to bring for expedition. cooking was fun. pitching tent was like a OH MAN thing for me. my watch - Hillary.
Day 2
settled down in da main OBS campsite. the facilities there were so much better than ours! urghs.
at least we had some yummy food there before setting off to land expedition. and oh yah. i didnt know i can climb so well. i reached the top of the rock climbing wall! achievement alright. my veins were beating hard on my arm surface. total disgust. i love animal game! it's just like concentration game but to replace the numbers with animals.
Day 3
Land expedition!!!!!!!!!! i saw honkbails, weird-looking spiders, jackfruits and many many things along the way. felt like as if i was in the national geographic channel. anyway, it was a cool experience as i could get to learn and trek at the same time. no point learning stuffs from books and tv when you cant get to see and feel them in real.
Day 4
Sea expedition. ok, i looked so dumb in kayaking. like, one of the slowest kayaker there. had a long draggy motion sickness. the feeling was terrible terrible terible. the navigator was melvin from pioneer JC. handsome-looking chap. a great leader. no wonder we broke the OBS record with a timing of 4 hrs plus to reach the destination. awesome achievement. i rmber the first time kayaking with my first batch of OBS friends, we took around 6 to 7 hrs. or mabbie 8 hrs? finally went back to our initial campsite. had a pitching tent n cooking compeition. Hillary won the pitching tent competition!
Day 5
ok zolene is like the big aunty in our watch. u wldnt want to camp with her! btw, know a guy who is a malaysian. everyday, he has to wake up early in the morning at 4am to go to sch. he has great interest in bio. his passion in learning inspires me to set my heart in studies. like, 4am to go singapore?! i salute him.
